John 1:1-18

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, nd that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:30-31
And he was transfigured before them, and his clothes became radiant, intensely white, as no one on earth could bleach them. Mark 9:2-3
The Disciples
We were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For when he received honour and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son,with whom I am well pleased,” 2 Peter 1:16-17
All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). Matthew 1:22-23
Those who believe
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become hildren of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13
She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21
