But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:18)
During the Covid epidemic we found that we needed to cancel activities as it wasn't possible to hold them. However, we still wanted to provide an opportunity to meet and share together. So, in 2021 we created a PBC Book Group. During the month the group all read a chapter of the chosen book and at the end of the month meet (via Zoom) to discuss the chapter. This is usually followed by a time time in smaller groups to pray.
Our first book was Maturity by Sinclair Ferguson. We all found this a very helpful book as Sinclair masterfully took us through the various discplines for the Christian Life.
To follow up this book, we will be reading Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life by Donald Whitney.
