Luke 2:21-38
And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. Luke 2:20
And when the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord. Luke 2:22
"… a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.” Luke 2:32
this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. Luke 2:25

A light to the Gentiles
For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:2
“… a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.” Luke 2:32
For although they knew God, they did not honour him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. Romans 1:21-23

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. John 14:9

Glory to Israel

“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11
You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. John 4:22
They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen. Romans 9:4-5
“Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation …” Luke 2:29-30
