3) A hope that does not disappoint
Romans 5:1-11
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, Philippians 3:20
set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:13
and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:5
for there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 3:22-24
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, Romans 5:1-4
and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:5
God the Father’s love
and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts Romans 5:5
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; 1 John 3:1
but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32
God the Spirit’s presence
and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:5
and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:5
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, Ephesians 1:13
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs -heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. Romans 8:16-17
set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:13
