Acts 9:26-31

Acceptance

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! Psalm 133:1

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. John 13:34

And when he had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join the disciples. And they were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple. Acts 9:26

But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles and declared to them how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus. Acts 9:27

So he went in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord. Acts 9:28

Witness

And he spoke and disputed against the Hellenists.Acts 9:29

Then some of those who belonged to the synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called), and of the Cyrenians, and of the Alexandrians, and of those from Cilicia and Asia, rose up and disputed with Stephen. Acts 6:9

Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him. Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul. Acts 7:54 & 58

They were watching the gates day and night in order to kill him, But they were seeking to kill him. Acts 9:24 & 29

And when the brothers learned this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus. Acts 9:30

And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely zealous was I for the traditions of my fathers. Galatians 1:14

I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ Philippians 3:8

“Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” Mark 5:19

Blessing

So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied. Acts 9:31

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, Acts 9:31

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:16 (KJV)

it multiplied. Acts 9:31
